Articles of Association
How the Association is constituted and governed.
INSEAD Alumni Association India is incorporated as a not-for-profit company under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U74130MH1996NPL100618), and is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
Our objects are to advance the interests of INSEAD alumni in India — fostering connection among alumni, supporting INSEAD and the INSEAD Alumni Association (IAA), and promoting the school’s mission — on a not-for-profit basis, with any surplus applied solely towards these objects.
The Association is managed by a Governing Council elected by its members, supported by office bearers and volunteer committees that run the city chapters, clubs and events.
This page is a plain-language summary for alumni. The Association’s Memorandum and Articles of Association are the binding constitutional documents; in case of any difference, those documents prevail. (Final governance wording is pending committee and legal review.)
