Who we are
This website (inseadindia.org) is operated by INSEAD Alumni Association India, a not-for-profit company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act (CIN U74130MH1996NPL100618), with its registered office at B2, 402B, Marathon Innovo, 4th Floor, Off. Ganpatrao Kadam Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400013, India — "the Association", "we". These terms govern your use of the website and of our paid services: membership and event registrations. By using the site or paying for a service, you accept them.
Eligibility and membership
- Membership is open to INSEAD alumni only, per the qualifying programmes listed on the membership page.
- We operate a pay-then-verify model: after payment, the committee verifies your alumni status against INSEAD records before your membership activates.
- If we cannot verify your status, your application is declined and your fee is refunded in full — see the Refund policy.
- You agree to provide accurate information when applying and to keep it current.
Payments
Fees are charged in Indian Rupees at the amount shown at checkout and processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or banking details. A receipt is sent to your registered email.
Refunds and cancellations
Our Refund policy and Cancellation policy form part of these terms.
Events
Event registrations may be free or paid, and places may be limited. We may ask you to confirm your identity at entry. We expect respectful conduct at all Association events and may decline entry or membership renewal for conduct that harms the community.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not misuse member information, scrape content, attempt to breach security, or misrepresent your identity or alumni status.
Content and intellectual property
Site content belongs to the Association or its licensors. The INSEAD name and marks belong to INSEAD and are used with permission — see our Intellectual Property statement.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy & Data Protection statement.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. We run it, and our services, with reasonable care, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
